The academic year is from April to March. It is divided into two terms:

From Class I to Class X the topics covered in the half-yearly examination will not be covered in the final examination, for Classes XI to XII Complete syllabus will be included in promotion examination.

Rules for Promotion
NOTE: School of exams is given in this diary.
(a) Students are supposed to present every day as per CCE they have been evaluated daily. If absent due to illness then. Medical Certificate from registered Doctor should be Palced.
(b) Student has Clear FA1, FA2, SA1, FA3, FA4, SA2 Exam for Promotion in next Class.
(c) FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4 test taken in the Various Forms (MCQ, Oral, Activity, Profents etc.)
(d) SA1 and SA2 are pen paper test taken on prior notice and are compulsory.
(e) Inspite of these test Students must Clear Activities tests also.
PTM
Parents Can not meet every day to the teaching staff and Principal. In Exceptional Cases only on appointment or called by school authorities. Every month Second Saturday is the PTM Day. PMT for which written notice will be given.
Health Check-Up:
A periodical medical check-ups which are necessary for the Childs physical development form part of the school activities to ascertain proper growth and health. A medical offecer will carries out these checkups once in everth three month. In case of any emergency the SDSN Principal/Vice Principal will ensure the proper medical care of the child.

Summer & Winter: Every working day
12:00 Noon – 1:00 p.m. or by prior appointment.
Identity Card
All students will be in possession of identity Cards issued by the school. They will be required to show their Identity Card at the gate when asked by the gate sentry.
