About College
Shri Durga Shiksha Niketan Mahavidyalaya was established in 2006 by untiring efforts of Shir Jagjivan Prasad and his wife Smt. Rajkumari. The College has its own vast campus situated at Lucknow Sitapur highway in village Devri Rukhara near Bakshi Ka Talab. It has a convenient approach and connectivity from both sides from Lucknow as well as from Sitapur.
The main objective of establishing this Mahavidyalaya was to provide higher education to the students in lowest fee and to bring revival in the girls’ education according to the present changeable atmosphere. Girls are such a unit of this changing society who can show their indispensable co-ordination in progress and can reach at the top in the society. Other objective of this College is to make the students better citizens by inculcating the virtues of self-descipline, self confidence, Social Service and humility.

This college established by Shri Durga Shisha Samati, aims to provide world class education atmosphere to our youth, to enable them in becoming a successful and better citizen. The college is providing a healthy educational environmental that will help in developing the creative potential of the present day students.
Shri Durga Shikha Niketan Mahavidyalaya is providing a comprehensive high quality education through advanced pedagogical techniques in a cross-cultural atmosphere. The college has organized co-curriculum and extra -curricular activities with positive approach that will provide the students an opportunity to enhance the creative expression of their overall personality. To make the learning most enjoyable we have self- sufficient campus with all required amenities.
